Chelsea 2-1 Tottenham LIVE SCORE: Reece James fires Blues back ahead after defensive shambles – Premier League latest

TOTTENHAM’S dreadful record at Stamford Bridge looks set to continue.

Kalidou Koulibaly volleyed the Blues in front in a first half which the Blues dominated.

But Jorginho sloppily gave the ball away in his own penalty area, allowing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to coolly fire the ball into the bottom corner.

However, Reece James looks set to have the final word after being left in acres of space to put the Blues back ahead.

    He is replaced by Conor Gallagher, and you can expect the Frenchman to be out for a number of weeks.

    Jorginho has been subbed off for Cesar Azpilicueta, after the Italian was ultimately responsible for Spurs’ equaliser.

    Hojbjerg rolls the ball into the back of the net for Spurs from outside the box after a horrendous attempt at a drag back from Jorginho, there is a VAR check but the goal is given!

    That is really poor from the Italian, who has been excellent today apart from that.

    Sterling dinks a lovely ball into the back stick, but Mount has just come inside and no one is stood at the back post.

    Once upon a time Marcos Alonso would have been there to nod that in, but not today.

    Kai Havertz receives a heavy challenge from Ben Davies, but it is not given.

    The corner avoids everyone in white, and Sterling sprints away on the counter attack.

    Sterling finds Kante and keeps running, but the pass back from the Frenchman is just a little too heavy and Sterling doesn’t reach it.

    Changing systems has had a positive impact for Spurs as they look to get back into the game.

    They are getting a bit more joy down the right hand side after the introduction of Richarlison, and they win a corner off of Marc Cucurella.

    The corner is cleared out for another one, and Son will whip it in.

    Chelsea escape the Tottenham press really well, and the fans are begging Loftus-Cheek to shoot, he eventually finds Sterling, but he fires over.

    Richarlison is on for Ryan Sessegnon, he is making his competitive Spurs debut as Conte changes the shape to a four at the back.

    Havertz is holding the play up really well for Chelsea so far.

    Much has been made of the German’s consistency in a blue shirt, but he has been nothing short of excellent today, despite the lack of a goal.
