She has previously revealed she is subjected to a stream of sexually explicit pictures sent to her via social media everyday. And now former Inbetweeners star Emily Atack has offered fans an insight into the graphic messages she also receives. Sharing a screenshot of her direct messages from a follower called Dave, Emily, 32, revealed she was “harassed everyday by this man”.
This is not the first time the Celebrity Juice panelist has spoken up on the matter of trolling. She was previously praised by MPs for her campaign to highlight online abuse. But proving the issue still remains, she pleaded with fans for help. “How is this sh** still allowed? How do we make this illegal? This is a platform where children could easily receive this abuse” she said.

She went on to share that the follower had set up numerous accounts to deliberately target her with his vile messages. She said, “I am harassed everyday by this man. I block and block, and he creates new accounts and gets into my private messages. Everyday.” She then asked Instagram bosses to “sort it out”.
Adding a third page of screenshots of the disgusting messages, Emily shared that she felt it was “Abuse that no one is talking about.”
Emily has previously opened up about the way that the trolling makes her feel and said that is makes her question if that is the reason she has trouble finding lasting love. Emily said, “Before breakfast I’ve seen about ten penises I have not asked to see. If someone sends me a sexually explicit message I’m like, ‘Why have they sent that to me?’ She added, ‘It makes you question who you are and why you’re single. It can drive you crazy’.”
She also said, “It’s not just seeing their picture and thinking, ‘I don’t want to see your hair ba**sack, thanks’. If it was just that I would get over it really quickly as I have seen lots of horrible, hairy ba**sacks in my life. But I get sent hundreds of pictures a day. It’s awful. It’s not normal is it? People don’t realise the harm [it can cause] and the triggering it can spark – where else you take it in your mind.
