Speaking about her scar, she wrote: “I’m proud of my scar and will never remove it permanently as it reminds me of one of the most special days of my life.

“This tiny red smile that I catch a glimpse of every day in the mirror still makes me feel in awe of what the female body is capable of.

Advertising scar reducer patches, Kate said that they are “designed to flatten, soften and lighten scars, old or new.”

Finishing her post, Kate said: “Like every woman, I want to feel confident and happy with my body so I embraced how I looked during pregnancy and I love my belly birth scar as without these, there would be no Tayto.”

Kate has been open about her battle with postnatal depression following the birth of Noa in her debut book, Maybe Baby, where she admitted feeling “emotionally drained”.

Kate told The Sun: “I remember rocking her, going: ‘Shush, shush.’

“But you’re just like: ‘Oh my god, please. What can I do?’”The sound of a baby crying when you’re emotionally drained, when you haven’t slept and you already feel so depleted…

“You’re lacking energy and you’re hungry and you’re tired and your partner is sleeping next door and you’re thinking: ‘Oh my god, why am I doing this?’”
