Denise Welch’s stalker jailed for seven years after starting fire on Loose Women star’s driveway

Loose Women star Denise Welch’s stalker has been sentenced to jail after starting a fire on the TV panellist’s driveway.

Toraq Wyngard, 64, was sentenced at Chester Crown Court today, Thursday 7 April, and received seven years and seven months behind bars.

The blaze that Wyngard started in 2020 at the Denise’s home caused over £4,000 worth of damage.

In the wake of his actions, Denise said she’s “permanently scarred”.

“It has changed my life. I have a wonderful life and this man has permanently scarred it,” she said, as per the Evening Standard.

The court was informed that Wynard set fire to a skip outside Denise’s home at 11pm on September 19 2020.
Denise shares her Cheshire-based home with her husband Lincoln Townley.
