What better way to celebrate long-lasting friendship than matching tattoos? Well, BTS seems inclined to think so.
Aside from being famed for their artistry, philanthropy, and being one of the biggest pop acts in music history, BTS is also heralded for their friendship and genuine affection for one another. While interacting with fans on Weverse on April 6, V shared that the septet is considering getting matching ink. According to a fan’s translations, he said, “…The members and I always talk about getting a friendship tattoo. 🐯We’re going to get a friendship tattoo at some point, please await it 🥰🥰.”
According to a follow-up post on Weverse translated by fans, V shared that he’d want to get his ink “somewhere you can’t see it,” and claimed that all the BTS members getting matching tattoos was actually Suga’s idea.
Body art is nothing new for some of the members of BTS. Jimin has multiple tattoos — with fans possibly spotting a few new ones — and Jungkook has a tattoo sleeve on his right arm. If BTS does choose to get matching tats together, we’re sure it’ll be something personal and meaningful to them.
Coming off the heels of a spellbinding and spy-themed performance at the Grammys 2022 — where they linked up with fellow artists Silk Sonic and reunited with collaborator Megan Thee Stallion — the superstar group has a very busy month ahead of them. Starting on April 8, BTS is set to perform four sold-out shows at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The last day of their Permission to Dance On Stage: Las Vegas concert series will be available to stream on April 17 via VenewLive.
