Coronation Street’s Millie Gibson and Charlie De Melo among cast basking in sunny weather

Coronation Street’s cast were out enjoying the sunny spring weather in force this week as they were spotted around Manchester.

Jack P. Shepherd donned a black ensemble even in the beaming sunshine as he donned a T-shirt, jeans and lace-up boots n the hue for a casual stroll through the city.

The David Platt star went one step further and slipped on a pair of black sunglasses as he strode the streets with a serious expression.

Jack also wore a gold chain necklace as he looked the picture of cool in contrast to his on-screen alter-ego.

Elsewhere, Kelly and Imran’s real-life counterparts Millie Gibson and Charlie De Melo were spotted deep in conversation as they went for a walk around media city.

She accessorised with a striking letter necklace and a turquoise ring, while Charlie opted for a contrasting look in a mustard t-shirt and blue jeans, his jacket slung over his arm.

The duo then met up with Sally Anne Matthews, who plays Jenny Bradley, at the bus stop, who was wearing a polkadot dress and jacket.

Millie’s character has been going through incredibly tough times on the cobbles over the last several weeks, and it’s not over yet.

New filming snaps taken earlier this month showed Kelly attending her dad Rick Neelan’s funeral, after devastating scenes revealed he was dead.

While Gary Windass, played by Mikey North, is there supporting the mourning daughter, Kelly doesn’t yet know that he was actually the one responsible for her dad’s death.

Gary had a showdown with Rick back in 2019, but so far he has managed to keep the truth about what happened a secret.

The character is set to finally have to atone for his past sins in the coming weeks, following years of troubled behaviour for the Weatherfield favourite.

Corrie boss Iain MacLeod also teased what’s to come between the characters recently, as he hinted at more drama to come.

“We’ve got the uber-complex Gary, who has finally turned his life around and is atoning for his sins with Kelly, only to find himself facing a final reckoning with the ghosts from his past,” he revealed.
