This is not a drill: new Harry Styles is officially coming.
Harry took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 23, to officially announce his third solo album, Harry’s House, expected to release on May 20. (We did the math — that’s only 58 days away. Eep!)
The popstar shared the album’s cover art across all of his social media platforms. It depicts Harry, wearing a collared pink and white blouse, wide-leg blue jeans, and mussed hair, standing on the ceiling of a room. The cover art is a bit of an optical illusion, showing the room flipped upside down.
The official album announcement comes only a few days after HS fans made headlines for their sleuthing — they located the online marketing campaign for the album, including a website titled “You Are Home,” which features a door that looks very similar to the door shown in the Harry’s House album art.
Clicking on the door leads to a short YouTube trailer for the album, which shows clips of bustling city life, then cuts to Harry walking onstage of an empty theater. To pulsating music, a prop house comes up around Harry, who smiles. A title card is then shown with the album name and an exciting confirmation: “The new album by Harry Styles.”
Harry is set to headline Coachella 2022 next month in Indio, California.
