Despite the high overall quality of the match, there was little displayed at the Emirates from either Arsenal or Wolfsburg to suggest they would frighten Barcelona, who have a 100 per cent record in the Spanish league this term.
Wolfsburg will be frustrated not to have held onto their lead, having struck the woodwork twice within one attack in the second half, but other than that lapse Arsenal proved tough to break down, too, and this looks like a tie which may well end up going the distance or being settled by just a single goal.
